Date: August 17, 2015

A report by NJ.com confirmed that Activist and Rapper Common will be in New Jersey’s biggest city on Saturday to attend the rally against crime and violence.

According to City officials, the main purpose of the event is to unite the people living in the state against violence and high rate of crime that take the life of many every year.

The rally will begin with a march that has 5 beginning points, one in each ward of the city and the march will finish in the heart of the city’s downtown.

The event is planned after the Occupy movement which was done against financial inequality in many parts of the country in the year 2011.

Common worked in many movies including “Run All Night”. He will address individuals attending the Newark rally.
