Drunk Driving crackdown by Madison police
MADISON – The summer holiday season is going to end soon, so Borough police is paying attention to driving under the influence of alcohol more than the usual routine.
As part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, DWI enforcement patrols were increased in number for the program that began on 19th of August and will end on 15th of September.
State officials told that the main purpose of a raise in the enforcement patrols is to keep DWI motorists off the roadways and prevent DWI accidents & fatalities.
N.J. Division of Highway Traffic Safety is handling and operating the 2016 statewide impaired driving crackdown.
