Fire Chief In A New Jersey Town Vomits And Urinates On Himself During DUI Arrest

Date: February 7, 2018

The recorded video of Rahway fire chief, William Young, after he was taken into custody for DUI, showed an awful scene as he vomited and urinated on himself.

He was arrested back in November for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was pulled over by the cops. He was issued a field sobriety test which he didn’t pass.

He said to the cops that he was not under the influence and he didn’t urinate on himself, but his BAC level came out to be 0.12 percent which is higher than the legal limit. The cops interviewed him and it was revealed that he was drinking at a party. According to the police, he was looking nauseous.

He vomited 2 times in the holding cell and he was sleeping in the police station before his wife arrived there to pick him up.

Young is still on the post on which he was serving, said Mayor who added that he will not explain further.

Before Young, another Rahway official named Samson Steinman got involved in an accident in 2016 and 2017. His charges in the 1st and 2nd accident included:

  • Driving with an expired license
  • Careless driving
  • Failing to produce proof of insurance
