New Jersey Year In Crime

A report released by New Jersey State Police’s Uniform Crime report shows that every 2 minutes and 54 seconds, a crime happens in New Jersey. The purpose of preparing and releasing the report is to reveal how much crime rate is increasing day by day.
The crime rate started decreasing in the previous year, but the rate is still high. A closer look at the investigation of the crimes shows a specific pattern which includes:
- Mostly, murders and crimes occur on Saturdays
- Gun is the weapon used for 93 percent of all homicides where the offender is male
- The offender is usually 13 or 14 years old
