Retired New Jersey Fire Chief Accused Of DUI Gets $160K For Unused Sick Time
RAHWAY, N.J. – The amount of $160,000 will be given to Former Rahway Fire Chief William Young Jr. who retired a short period of time after he was taken into custody in 2017 for drunk driving.
The amount will be paid for the unused sick time which amounted to 250 days.
His car was stopped in Jackson in November after the police were reported that he nearly struck a bus and a wall. The cops issued him a field sobriety test which he didn’t pass.
According to his attorney, they will not comment on the case while it was still pending.
