Suspect Leaves Wallet Behind At Crime Scene After New Jersey Robbery

Date: October 30, 2017

FAIR LAWN, N.J. – On Thursday, police responded to an alarm at Mavis Discount Tire in Fair Lawn and they found a broken window in the back of the building.

A cash register containing the amount of $300 was not present at its place.

The thing that assisted the cops in searching the offender was a wallet, which he left on the scene by mistake.

They found the wallet of a 41-year-old Paterson man who worked in the store.

After sometime, 2 cops responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and they took a 36-year-old driver into custody.

Both men were involved in the robbery case and they returned to the scene in search of the wallet.
